Should I risk not meeting all my needs, for the sake of having an interesting life?

From an anonymous contributor

Self-care can seem like such a trade off. For example...

What if I actually accept my limitations and discover I am not able to fulfill my own needs?

What if the only way I can fulfill my needs is not to do things I want to do?

Should I risk not meeting all my needs, for the sake of having an interesting life?
