The AWG Main Meeting is a structured by a slideshow. Click here to view a sample meeting slideshow. (alt text available in the sample slideshow). The 60-min (ish) meeting format was created with feedback from our Autistic Women’s Group community.

Sharing meeting slideshow link in chat
Introducing the group purpose and procedure
Announcing trigger warning(s), if applicable
Reading written shares on the weekly topic provided by anonymous members of r/autisticwomensgroup
Live topic shares (to about 35 min past the hour) provided by members on Zoom or via the meeting chat
General shares (to about 56 min past the hour): “How’s your week going? Any struggles, triumphs, or other experiences to share relating to autism?” and/or further topic shares.
Closing: Announcements and group affirmation

It is not mandatory to turn on your mic or camera. Coming to listen is totally fine. By taking part, we hold space for others, and ourselves, to participate in a way that is manageable for us as we exist right now.
